With temps climbing into the mid-60's, Kim had picked a great day (in spite of the headwind we'd have over the final 35 miles) for riding Ron's Nottoway Ramble. Pascal joined us and promised not to hammer us into the ground (and to do the pulls late in the ride). I'll let the videos tell the story. (the first one, and ONLY the first one is shot at an odd angle as I failed to adjust the lens correctly)
Cows! Didn't know they raised them here.
Another view from early in the ride
A long video as we ride through Courtland and cross the Nottoway river
A nice section just after Claremont at 85 miles
Watch what happens to me when we go uphill after this big downhill at the James river
Next hill, I held Kim's wheel, but Pascal leaves us behind, again
One final shot from late in the ride

Very nice videos! What was your camera setup?
Ron (Mr. Nottoway)
This is the Contour HD (because nobody is bothering with making any non-HD camcorders)

The finally selling point for me was when I learned that this is what they use on "Dirty Jobs" for helmet camera shots.
The only downside is it records in Quicktime, so, I had to upgrade to Quicktime Pro in order to compress the video for the web and still have audio. (Any other file format I tried with my video editing software would not work)
I tried one other brand of helmet cam and it broke on the first use so I returned it.
